Annual HRA Dues Are Surprisingly Cheap!
Here’s the schedules for regular and allied members including number of individuals within the member entity who are entitled to mailing services (HRA membership mailings):
Regular Members
Includes food and beverage foodservice entities:
- 25 or less: $150/year, 1 Mailing Service
- 26 to 50: $250/year, 2 Mailing Services
- 51 to 100: $350/year, 3 Mailing Services
- 101 to 250: $500/year, 4 Mailing Services
- 251 to 500: $750/year, 6 Mailing Services
- 501 to 750: $1,100/year, 8 Mailing Services
- 751 or more: $1,600/year, 11 Mailing Services
Allied Members
Includes non-foodservice entities:
- $275/year, 1 Mailing Service
- Extra Mailing Services $125/year each
Annual dues investments for regular members are based on the total number of foodservice employees. If you own more than one unit, dues are based on the total number of employees for all units. Annual dues investments for allied members are paid by an organization’s corporate office if that organization owns more than one unit.
AND It’s All Tax Deductible
Dues for both types of members are deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense for federal income tax purposes, except for 12%, which is attributable to estimated lobbying expenses. Contributions, gifts and dues are not deductible as charitable contributions.
